HOLISTIC COUNSELLING
By reconnecting to our inner self, some would call it our soul, well being is achieved.
As we let go of old energies and blockages we take a giant step toward an inner glow of confidence and relaxation. Nova’s Holistic Counsellor provides the opportunity for you to explore different ways of looking at your life to thrive and shine. It’s about moving from victim to being the creator of your life and future. Individual empowerment underpins the unique Nova’s holistic approach. By taking responsibility, we take back our power.
Our holistic counsellor does not look to reveal faults or to ‘diagnose’ mental illness, rather, to allow you to deeply relax; revealing more of the real you.

SOUND-BATH (POST TREATMENT ENHANCEMENT) 

At Nova, our Therapist and Holistic Receptionist Coaches are trained in Sound-Bath techniques; using a 70cm diameter Himalayan Wind Gong and 7 Tibetan Singing Bowls each one specifically tuned to each Chakram(this set has been blessed by a Tibetan Buddhist monk).

OXYGEN THERAPY
A dedicated mild HBOT hyperbaric oxygen therapy session in our state of the art Airpod chamber. Rejuvenate at a cellular level. Assist the essential oxygenation of the bodies organs and muscles.

ODIN ICE BATH 
Since the dawn of time humans have taken advantage of the health giving benefits of plunging and immersing in ice cold water. Like a fountain of youth, ice baths promote wellbeing, weightless, recovery and stress relief. . 
Now for the first time in Hobart we can all enjoy the healing benefits of regular ice bathing.

HYDRO MASSAGE 
Nova's dry hydro massage table is exclusive in Tasmania. Powerful water jets will massage key areas of the spine, head, neck and sacrum. The sessions are fully clothed as the water in contained inside the bed. While Nova's practitioner massages are highly therapeutic, there are times the action of the water jets are able to relieve pain in a unique way.

HOLISTIC SOUND BATH
Our Himalayan Sound Baths utilise a 70cm Wind Gong with a series of 7 Tibetan Singing Bowls; that align to each of your 7 chakras: Balancing your chi, optimising nervous system functioning, and equalising energetic and blood flow pathways.

REIKI
Reiki, pronounced ‘ray-key’, is a Japanese form of healing therapy developed 200 years ago using life force energy to promote healing, increase energy levels and promote relaxation & wellbeing. This treatment is performed fully clothed. Your therapist places their hands on or just above your body in sequences of positions. Unlike massage, a reiki session does not involve any form of physical manipulation. During a session, you may feel warmth or cold, a tingling sensation, slight twitching or a rumbling tummy. You may feel absolutely nothing other than complete relaxation.

AMETHYST BIOMAT
Nova's BioMat is a full length technology using a combination of far infrared rays, negative ion and the conductive properties of amethyst channels. The BioMat is filled with amethyst crystals. Amethyst’s healing powers have been celebrated for thousands of years.  The ancient Greeks believed it protected against intoxication. Leonardo da Vinci believed that amethyst had the power to protect against evil and to increase intelligence. Buddhists use the stone to enhance peace and tranquility during meditation.  Today, modern science shows us that centuries of lore surrounding the stone’s healing powers are supported by its unique physical characteristics, including its piezoelectric properties which allow it to carry both a negative and a positive charge simultaneously. The far infrared rays that pass through the amethyst crystals turn these rays into long wavelengths capable of safely and deeply penetrating the body.
