The use of heated stones to calm and restore the body goes back to the dawn of time. Nova's unique Signature Treatment uses a combination of temperatures  both hot and cold stones to invigorate you at a cellular level.

During a thermal stone massage; smooth, flat, heated and chilled smoothed stones stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The use of cold stones with hot regulates thermal balance.

The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat. A combination of hot and cold stones are arranged on the massage bed under towel and blanket, upon this you lay, whilst hot and cold stones are then placed on different areas of the whole body. Your therapist holds a stone (with oils) as they massage different parts of your body using Swedish massage techniques with gentle pressure. ​Completed with amethyst and quartz crystal Gua Shu to relax and rejuvenate the facial tissues leaving you feeling alive and energised. 

Your unique Nova Signature journey concludes with a 5min Sound Bath. You get to stay relaxed and seen on the table whilst your therapist gently plays sound therapy instruments: a gentle shimmer of Gong at your feet with Tibetan Singing Bowl at your crown; enveloping you in a rich and grounding field of pure resonation. Balancing out and thoroughly harmonising your systems.
