Exciting Opportunity for qualified Massage Therapists!

NOVA is looking to hire a dynamic team of talented Massage therapists to make up our therapist crew.

We invite mindfully present, self aware massage therapists trained and certified in at least one of the listed massage disciplines below. You will have relevant qualifications and at least 1 year experience. 

With our 2 luxuriously unique treatment rooms,  and full spectrum far infrared Sauna, Magnesium Hot-Tub, ODIN IceBath & AirPod hyperbaric Oxygen chamber; we are Hobart's only spa and, the first to incorporate holistic counselling modalities and ancient healing rituals, enhanced, by the latest in recovery and regenerative tech, along with targeted coaching and ongoing, professional support frameworks toward client goals.

We are seeking individuals with training and certification in any of the following modalities: 

• Deep tissue massage 
• Pregnancy massage
• Remedial/sports massage 
• Trigger point release 
• Manual Lymphatic drainage 
• Myofascial release, 
• Shiatsu
• Hot-stone

A combination of several of the above is highly desirable - the more you techniques can offer, the better!

Any other unique technique/s you do, may also be of interest, so please mention them in your application.

Ideal candidates will be/have:

• Relevant and current qualifications in your discipline/s
• Current professional indemnity Insurance
• ABN - or willingness & ability to get one
• Full and unrestricted Australian work rights status, ie: Citizenship, Residential or Temporary working visa.
• Understanding and practise of holistic life approaches
• Dedicated to wellbeing and providing immersive experiences for our clients, caring about the quality of service delivered
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Experience in taking health history, assessing clients before their appointment, accurate note taking, with basic computer skills for maintaining client treatment notes
• Reliability and exceptional bedside manner is crucial, with authentic personal presentation and diplomacy: Professional and enthusiastic with passion for what you do, and how you do it!
• Willingness to work on weekends on a rotational basis
• Experience is preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply

NOVA is looking to hire a dynamic team of mindful Receptionists to make up our admin/greeting crew.

We invite authentic, self-aware receptionists to handle bookings, client greeting and spa facilities management.

A background or interest in emotional therapies/counselling, particularly holistic modalities is an advantage.

​Ideal candidates will be/have:

• Reception and bookings skills & experience. Wellness Living experience a bonus.
• Calm, optimistic and authentic personality
• HICAPS experience
• Social media posting & marketing skills
• Full and unrestricted Australian work rights status, ie: Citizenship, Residential or Temporary working visa.
• Understanding and practise of holistic life approaches
• Dedicated to wellbeing and providing immersive experiences for our clients, caring about the quality of service delivered
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Experience in maintaining secure client records
• Experience in (or willingness to learn) spa facilities start/closure procedures, periodic equipment maintenance routines, and water ph levels testing etc.
• Reliability, neat personal presentation and diplomacy
• Professional and enthusiastic with passion for what you do, and how you do it!
• Willingness to work occasional rotational, weekend shifts
• Experience in clinical settings preferred, however, enthusiastic receptionists are welcome.
